Approach
Savvy in that I have practical, professional, and academic experience in a wide range of settings that I bring to each project. I’ve developed sound judgement and an ability to get up to speed quickly on projects as well organizations and their cultures. I am honest and diligent in working with you to determine the best use of my time to maximize the impact of your work.
Nimble in that I can draw on a variety of skill sets, adjust to changes quickly, pivot as necessary, and engage in project roles from small to large as you need.

I believe strongly in the importance of fit in a consultant – much like hiring the right staff, an outside consultant is most beneficial when they are a good fit for an organization’s needs, culture, and style as well as having the skills and expertise to do the job well. I’m committed to making sure we’re a good fit for one another before the work gets going.
I love helping groups and organizations have meaningful, productive conversations. With a background in public sector management, communication, and conflict resolution, I work with you to design and guide meetings where everyone feels heard, discussions stay on track, and the conversation is substantive. I also make sure there’s clear follow-up and actionable next steps so the work keeps moving forward after the meeting ends.
From organizational strategy to stand-alone projects, I believe plans should be realistic, have genuine buy-in, and fit the unique needs of your team. I help craft plans with shared ownership, clearly defined roles and timelines, and built-in principles for evaluating progress and success.

Whether it’s tackling operational hurdles, providing extra staffing assistance for a project or initiative, or helping with coalition activities, I can step in to offer hands-on support and an outside perspective to help your organization thrive.
Sometimes you need someone outside the organization to track and nudge on all those project details, big and small. Whether it's tasks, workflow, budget, or all of the above, I’ve managed large, complex projects and can keep the ball rolling and ensure the documentation is in place.
